The library was one of my first stops when we moved here back in '04. Obtaining my card meant orienting me in my new home, connecting me, as I stood on wobbly newcomer's legs, to something I knew well and have always found comfort in, namely, libraries and books. Tompkins County Public Library is an integral part of my family's life. We have an especially good library here, and I'm grateful for its resources, events, classes for kids, and great staff.
