Reader-fundraisers who participated in the 2024 READATHON--the 12th annual read-out-loud challenge to raise funds for Tompkins County Public Library--shared their Library Love with friends and family. Their campaigns cumulated in a video of their read, which was shared with their donors. It's a great way to celebrate the Freedom to Read, literacy, and TCPL! Every dollar raised helps to buy books and other materials our community so desperately needs. Nearly a million items are used each year—a remarkably high level for a community of our size—and 100% of the funding for annual purchases comes from private support like yours.
