Periodicals offer information and entertainment in bite-sized pieces. Perhaps you remember when doctor's offices and other waiting areas were well-stocked with piles of magazines to help you pass the time. While many offices no longer subscribe to many periodicals, you can be sure that TCPL does!

Many magazines are available electronically with your TCPL library card, but sometimes you want to be able to lay a magazine out on your lap and appreciate the layout of each spread, or easily reference a recipe, or just feel those pages between your fingers.

We see many people reading TCPL's magazines right here in the North Reading Room, every day. Periodicals deserve shelf space at the library, for those who have no access to e-resources from home, or for those who just prefer reading them in physical format.
