Library Storytellers

When I was a volunteer, one of my favorite jobs was the welcoming desk. It was a desk and someone would sit there and welcome people to the library. If that volunteer was absent, I would be like, “I’ll go do the welcoming desk!” because I like to smile. That was always lovely for me to just be that face because it’s easy to welcome people to this place.

My enthusiasm for the library is evident I hope. I adore libraries and I love reading. I just feel so lucky to work here, so I’m just like, “Yeah! We rock. It’s a fact.”
